About the course
Artificial intelligence is rapidly becoming a natural part of education and professional training. For many teachers and trainers, the challenge lies in knowing how to use AI effectively and responsibly. This course provides a practical introduction to AI as a teaching tool – not as a technical subject. You will learn how to plan, adapt, and assess learning activities with AI support, while reflecting on ethics, privacy, and pedagogical responsibility.

- Module 1: Introduction to AI in education – opportunities and challenges
- Module 2: Lesson planning and content creation with AI
- Module 3: Assessment, feedback, and differentiation using AI tools
- Module 4: Responsible use – ethics, bias, and data privacy
- Module 5: Case project – designing and reflecting on an AI-enhanced learning activity
Assessment is based on an individual project and a reflective paper. Successful completion awards 5 ECTS credits.
The course combines four interactive online sessions with demonstrations, peer discussion, and guided assignments, followed by a concluding on-campus seminar where participants share and present their AI-based teaching projects. This blended format ensures both flexibility and in-depth learning with direct pedagogical feedback.
Designed for teachers, trainers, and education professionals. Basic digital skills are required, along with either higher education, vocational training, or relevant work experience in teaching, training, or educational support.
